Richard DaviesĀ has joined our Family Team, having transferred to the Bar following a successful career as a solicitor in private practice.
Richard was called to the Bar in March 2024 having formerly practiced as a solicitor since 2008. Since 2012 he has specialised solely in family lawyer with a particular emphasis on Children Law (private) and Financial Remedy. In July 2024 he became a Solicitor Advocate, having obtained his Higher Rights of Audience (civil).
He has a particular interest in Children Act 1989 proceedings and has worked on various complicated cases including adoption, violence towards children and cases with an international element. He has represented parents, grandparents and extended family alike.
Richard’s Financial Remedy practice has led him to represent clients in complex financial matters that have included foreign assets and applications by third parties to join existing legal proceedings.
